How should I care for my jewellery?

1. To maintain luster and durability of your jewellery, avoid wearing it while showering, exercising or swimming.
2. When dressing, jewellery should always be put on last, as make-up, cosmetics and perfumes can cause damage to your jewellery.
3. Avoid using abrasive household cleaning products, such as bleach or other chemicals, as these contain harsh chemicals and can destroy your jewellery over time.

 How do I store my jewellery?

1. Always store your pieces individually so that they don't rub together, scratch or tangle. 
2. Keep chains fastened at the clasp to avoid tangling.
3. Don't place jewellery in direct sunlight as prolonged exposure can cause gemstones to fade and lose their colour.

    How do I clean my jewellery?

1. Although our pieces are made for everyday wear, to maintain the radiance & lustre of your jewellery, soak your gold & diamond jewellery in warm water with a few drops of mild washing  liquid. Delicately clean it with a soft brush, rinse with clean water & pat dry with a soft cloth.
2. To clean pearls & gemstones, delicately wipe the surface with a soft & damp cloth. Do not use hot water or any kind of detergent or soap.
3. Do not use tissue paper, paper towels or cotton as this may cause scratching and leave fibres on the jewellery.

 Does gold scratch?

Gold is not scratch resistant. All our pieces are expertly crafted with 18k or 14k gold so they are durable but also malleable. 18k gold has 18 parts pure gold, and 6 parts alloys. 14k gold has 14 parts pure gold and 10 parts alloys. Scratching is  normal and is normally only noticeable on a piece with a larger surface area.
